Got the wheel cylinders off and disassembled. Bought the cylinder kits. I guess I thought while I was underneath the combine I might as well go ahead and look inside the brake. Doesn't look to be that complicated - take drive shaft out, take out the three bolts, pull brake cover off. That way I can check to see if there are broken springs or badly worn brake disks. Any suggestions??? ALSO, will the operator's side brake housing come off OK due to the location of the transmission/clutch/lower driver pully? Someone in the archives said it wouldn't. Looks to me like there might be enough clearance. Thanks to all of you who have given suggestions.
