Greasing sealed bearings

I use a 1/16" drill bit in a battery drill and drill a hole in the side shield towards the top of the bearing. I use a grease needle (bigger one used to grease the CV joints in a chevy 4x4) and filler up. Clean the hole of grease and put a spot or permatex to seal it up. I have been doing this for 30 years and it will help keep them running for a long time. There are many diffrent sizes of needles that you can get, Any good farm store or parts store should have them.
