I have been offered a nice 205 IH combine in trade towards a rough WK-40 McCormick tractor that I own..I"d keep it if it were a 203 because Dad had one but I don"t really want a 205..

If theres some interest in it and I can trade for it right,I will offer it for sale here on the ytmag classifieds..Its always been shedded and was basically only used to pick up fescue with a pickup head..The reel has barely been used..

The only market is for collectors. I am not sure what the value would be as you live pretty far out west. So transporting it east would cost as much as the machine. So I am not sure what the resale market would be.

I think I would only trade for it if I was going to keep it myself. The tractor would be easier to transport/sell.
 
That one has really nice paint! That must be an aftermarket cab?

Hope it finds a new home; good thing collectors hang out on this website.

Pete, Here is a picture of a 1972 205 with a factory cab, crop-saver reel, and power steering. I may try to sell it in spring as I bought a JD 4420 to replace it last year. Al
