When running in deep mud, or any mud for that matter, a combine does not always run in the direction the operator is aiming for. The result is running in an irregular pattern. The expression "with fan housing dragging" was referring to deep mud. The fan housing has no sirect effect on the corn head! |

| It works fine. I do it every year. You can run 36" to 40" rows through a 38" head with no problem. Any one who says you can't hasn't shelled much corn. I plant 36" rows and run them through my 438 head on my L2 Gleaner as fast as you want to drive. |
