Very nice pictures, thank you for sharing. I'm sure I have asked before but where are you located? I especially enjoy the pics of peanut harvest.

Looks alot like eastern NC. Do you plow your seet potatoes before that machine picks them up? I been looking for an easier way to do ours.

Does the sweet 'tater digger operator have a license? It is good to see the kids still helping out. How may sweet potatoes do you grow?

Great photos!!! Gleaner was kinda far away. What model?? I agree with previous post about it being nice seeing the young lady helping by driving the tractor!!

yes were located in southeastern n.c.,before we start with the digger we mow the vines as close as possible without hitting the ground, the potatoes will sometimes be just under the dirt, then we bar them off with a set of hiller blades turned backwards under a super a to cut the vines to the width of the digger chain,we use to grow around 20 acres several years back until the market went bad,now we grow about 2 acres sell them to local folks, hogs get the small ones and culls, combine is an F3 hydro we use a 436 for corn and a 313 flex for beans and grain, i've ran several different brands and sizes through the years all have +'s and -'s but we been well pleased with the gleaner, it still impresses me what it can handle for it's size with the closed concave system ,it and one of the peanut diggers is being operated by the tractor drivers 11 year brother, of coarse they have adult supervision and orders if any thing goes wrong shut it off, someone will address the problem,we don't expect them to work like a grown person they will stick with whats going on till the luster starts wearing off then they find something else,i hope that them being exposed to a farm and farm work will instill work ethic's in them that will last a life time even if there not involved with agriculture, very few children today don't get that opportunity.

From here it looks like you have duals on the combine. If so what size tires? Also maybe closer pics? thanks Dale

we are using 2-18.4x26 tires that's about as will run behind an A436 corn head and as wide and tall as we could use behind a 313 flex header without remounting the hyd reel drive pump and tank wet or dry we don't take them off
