I think I need a new key switch for my 6600 diesel. When I was combining this fall, I noticed that the fuel guage would not work for a little bit when I first started it up, then it would start working. I went to move it yesterday, and I could not hear the electric fuel pump running before I started it up. I wiggled wires and tapped the fuel pump but it didn't start working. It did start and run and then the fuel guage worked. Is there anything besides the switch that could cause this?? Chris

I don't remember for sure without looking it up, but I think there is a relay for that, probably on the firewall? Could be a bad connection for the relay, after the alternator kicks in the voltage goes up enough to get the relay kicked in.

Super 99 where you located? I know of two 6600 for parts.
