Gleaner E to K Parts Swap

Fellow I know has an E that he is going to scrap. I know it will scrap for around $800 and would not mind buying it for that to keep the K in parts but don"t know how many parts will cross over. Most interested in seperator clutch shaft and all other cross shafts along with sprockets. THANKS in advance.

I've never done that, so this is a guess. And I'm going to guess you would be disappointed. Little changes were constant. I was surprised to learn of many just from an early E to a late one. The drive components were often changed with model changes.
Some time spent studying part numbers between models would be instructional.

look up the two machines on agco parts online and you can compare the part numbers
