For you Pa. guys, any other salvage yards around besides Keiters? Been there a few times and rather expensive. I am in Lehigh county. The interior nut that holds this thing together has failed now on 2 drives, this will be my third. I am getting quite nervous about using this machine. I have given quite some thought to using drives from a 4400 if I can locate them cheap enough. Meanwhile I use the 3300 that I bought for parts this past winter, it is gas rotary screen with 2019 hrs on it. It uses a lot of gas, would rather be using the diesel that is broken but this gasser is in like new working shape. Got the gasser for 2500 with a grain head and really don't want ot use parts of it.

I have bought from spalinger (ohio), worthington (multiple locations) and all states ag parts (multiple locations). Each was able to ship parts on a palet.

We had a CII Gleaner combine that we had trouble with also. Rebuilt ours 3 or 4 times. We then bought one off of a salvage combine, still had troubles. It was always the one on the left side if you are sitting in the seat. I know what you mean about being afraid to use it. I could take ours off in the dark without a light.

No wheres close but i have a 3300 that is being stripped one piece at a time. I guarantee i will be cheaper than most yards but then again its just a hobby.
