Does anyone know where I can get a new canvas for a McCormick model 64 pull-type combine canvas?

My friend has a No. 76 IH combine as the neweset harvesting machine (VERY old equipment still in use, primary use is at local threshing bee, but still used on farm) and all of our canvases for thresher, combine, several others are rebuilt by the Amish. They specialize in doing it because they have to do it for a living, and do a darn good job. I don't know if you live near any Amish, but here in the Coulee Region of Wisconsin we're covered with them (not saying that is a bad thing). For example, on the left of me, as I write, lives my neighbor Joe B., and to the right of me Joe M., both Amish families that have moved nextdoor on both sides in the last two years. Good luck on your canvas, I just wanted to tell you where we effectively take ours.

John; You will likely end up having one made. Try a shop that specializes in sail making, upholstery or builds tarps for the transport industry. If you don't have the old one for a pattern and need specifications let me know, I can get the measurements from mine. Take care. Roy
