Got started combineing corn this afternoon--with the 95!After repairing/rebuilding the 'munched' feeder house and some other minor repairs-It works!Did a binfull, that was enough.Tommorrow we will start corn harvest.Steve.Did I say I am happy......?

Good job Steve! Glad the 95 is doing a good job for you. Hopefully I will be hitting the field in the next day or two to start shelling my corn, Well maybe if the doc and wife let me. At least me and my grandson can watch my son and his Gpaw go at it. Bandit

Glad you're feeling better. How's the 8-20 working? The 95 seems to have plenty of power with the 217.If the 95 continues to 'behave',those two 105s will probably go away after harvest. Will try to get some pics.Steve

Very curious- DR! As you remember, we were in Colo last month, had a wonderful time in our first visit to your State....you even graciously asked us to stop by...thank you for that! What is the moisture on the corn? Do you need to dry it? Here, we typically do.......farmed 40 years, one year put some straight into the bin...I had beans last 3 years, renter, this year, most of his went into the bin without drying. We get a double whammy in most of MN- dry everything, too far from markets, so pay the freight to NO or Pacific, or through Duluth, MN to Atlantic. Normal local price is 40 cents or more under CBOT. Ethanol plants give us a better return, but bean markets are limited. Some local crush. What are your market options?

Our corn is 2 weeks to 1 month early this year, have no idea why....Moisture is running in the low teens. The markets here are limited."Foster Farms"(they pay well and prompt, but are a PIA to deal with),a large Cal.based chicken "ranch" buys most of the local corn.some corn is now being trucked out to Denver or Salt Lake City.We never have to dry,we are a dry climate,LOW humidity.

WOW!!! can't believe those details....ok, I'll trust you! Normal corn harvest in central MN is mid October- this year was early and coming in dry! Normal at harvest time is .....hoping it's under 30......we like to see 25 to 19. Mn is 400 miles N-S, so central is ? we call it west/nw of MPLS. BTW- your comment about 'dry climate'...reminded me of what I overheard from a museum worker in Denver or Colo Springs...ok, hopefully just a senior moment....

Glad to hear you got'er going Steve. I just picked the last of our corn today, 20 bpa, 16.5 moisture, 59.5 tw, 24 ppb aflatoxin. I'm glad to finally be done with harvest, now on to sowing wheat and mowing around field edges.
