I am working out in eastern Colorado on a wind farm and stumbled on these girls today while reseeding some CRP. After the project is completed I may try to run the land owner down and see if they would be interested in letting loose of them!

What is left of them actually doesn't look too bad. Hopefully somebody can get them, I would definitely be interested.

There are more parts and pieces laying around than what is in the pic. The straw spreader is laying there as well as all the counter weights for the header. They have it set up for a pickup head. The Herc engine is pretty rough manifold is completely rotted off, carb has a crack in it, block looked okay. Didn't spend too much time looking.

Nice find Lance..One of them would sure make a great conversation piece sitting in my back yard..I'll bet theres still quite a few old combines in Colorado..

I agree. It looks like a No.3 based on photos in the Jan-Feb, 2005 issue of Two Cylinder magazine on page 6.
