Feeder house chain

Remember the mangled 95 feeder
house, chain, shaft, etc?Well,I made a new shaft for
the front drum, had the main drive/pivot shaft
along with some other parts straightened.Best
thing of all,that new 105 (old style)conveyor
chain is now a 95 (new style) conveyor chain.I was
able to cut it down.I ground the rivets down, made
a drilling 'jig' to properly place the new holes
each and every time.Rebolted everything back
useing 5/16 finethread bolts, then tack welded the
nuts.Finished up by cutting 5" from each end of
each slat.Perfect match.I just saved myself about
$700 in about 8 hrs. That feederhouse will be
combining soon!Feels pretty good when a plan
acctually works! :) Steve
