F2 Alternator

I have an F2 gas with a bent alternator bracket. The
belt doesn't want to stay on. I've had this machine
for two years now, and had no problems last year
with the belt staying on. When you look down at it,
you can see that the alternator doesn't sit square
with the other pulley. Any ideas on why all of a
sudden? Thanks in advance. Rob

On the bottom bracket, there is a small bushing; tiny "pipe" actually, which tightens and holds the alternator forward.

See if that thing has worn thru and allowing the back of the alternator to drop down a bit.

Allan, I don't even have that little pipe anymore! Just a 3/8 bolt. I will look at it tommorrow. Thanks again.
