If we run corn, there is to much corn leaves, silks etc. If We run beans, pods and dust. Combine is set by the book. Really doesn"t make much difference if we change the settings one way or the other I was wondering since the top of the fan was open, was it dragging this in.
Also I read where there is a cover you can install on the bottom under the combine, mine is open, could it be sucking it in from there as well? Thank you so much for your help.

| The bottom is covered on the 1480 with the cross flow fan. However as mentioned the top isn't. This suggests that the bottom shouldn't be open on your 1460.
