Gleaner M header clutch

I have a Gleaner model M combine that I cannot get the electro-magnetic header clutch to disengage. It has power all the way up to the clutch, but the power is what engages the clutch, not disengages it, correct? Is there a spring or anything else in the clutch that would keep it from disengaging? This combine was used last year as well, so it has only been sitting for about a year. Any other ideas as to what could bee frozen or held up?

Thanks for the help.

Check to see if the rocker switch is cutting power to the clutch when in the off position. Joe

The clutch is magnetic- needs power to it to engage. No springs. No power= will not pull the halves together. Other poster talks about checking voltage thru switch- there should be none unless switch is engaged.
