JD 234 corn head

I'm looking for a small Deere combine, model not yet
known. Neighbor has 234 corn head I can procure for
little or nothing. It would be helpful to know what
range of machines it fits, in case the combine I
find doesn't come with a corn head. Thanks, Fritz

Get the corn head. They are getting harder to find in usable shape. It will directly fit all JD 3300 combines and JD 45 and 55 with the new style feeder house. It would fit a JD 4400 to but the combine is too wide to use it. JD feeder house openings are a standard. Clear up to the the 12 row heads.

Like I posted a while back the guys in the shop hung a JD 244 on a JD 9610 combine as a joke. It would fit the feeder house.

The 234 is an old style head. It can be set up to fit 45,55, and 95 combines only. You will have to measure the attaching points to see what it is set up for. To make it fit a different model, you have to have the mounts and the drive parts. I'd bet it was set up for a 45 or 55.

Sorry fellows I was reading fast and did not notice the 234 rather than 244. Well This is only my twenty or forty second mistake today. LOL I am getting better.
