problem with unload augur..everything seems to be turning on the bottom but seems to be striped where augur goes on shaft above bevel gear..aint tore into it yet just wondering what I'm in for..striped splines is my guess..hopefully just shaft and not augur..possibe to drill a hole thru it and put bolt to drive for fix?

Is the hopper empty? That can be a pain in its self to get empty.

I think it is just a bolt to start with. Must have sheared or fell out.

Lets us know.

Had the same problem on my 1460. The augers are pinned to the bevel gear. The vertical auger pin came out. Had to take unloading auger off the elbow and slid it back to repin. But I put grade 5 bolts and locknuts back in instead. And both augers are some what timed to each other.

problem is on the bottom..not up by elbowhousing rusted out and allowed cast piece with bevel gears to drop down 3/4 of an inch or so it will run withfloor jack and pipe pushing it back up where it belongs... took chains off bin bottom augurs but as soon as you put that chain back on it overloads and slips emptied bin with shovel pushing corn over to main augur..fun but at least its empty now ..dont even wanna look at it till monday..honeydo list ya know..
