Just recieved a phone call from a man in Ohio.He has a #42 combine. His problem is soybean "stuff" piles up on the front of the chaffer.I,ve never done soys so couldnt help much, other than general info.He also woudered about pulling the sieves. That should be pretty much self explanetory? He also wondered if the sieves would come out with the strawchopper in place. Thanks

Chaff should never touch the top sieve (chaffer). The fan blast should be strong enough to instantly float the chaff. Chaff that rides on the chaffer will carry beans out the back. So many see beans on the ground and think less air is needed when almost always it's MORE air that is needed. Mike

Change the pulley and increase the speed of the fan. My brother nearly doubles the fan speed on his pull type IH combine and it was a great improvement.
