New small pull type combine

What do you people think the best old small pull type combine was? For versatility, relibaility, ease of adjustment, etc. For folks with less than 100 acrs of grain, the old ones are are getting hard to keep going and i wonder why some little manufacturer doesn't make one.

Either IH 82 or AC 72, but with bigger bins and capable of mounting a 2-row 30" corn head (I know the 72 had as an option a 2-row wide head back in the day).

Sales of pulltypes really plumeted in the 1960's. And in the world of mass production it doesnt pay to make a few machines. A good example would be the IH 82. Production ran from 1966 - 1974. In 8 years they only made about 4400 +/-. Too make matters worse no corn head was available; therefore if You had corn... You had to have a second machine. Pulltypes dont do well in wet condtions; but self propelled machines could go through mud in many cases much better. Self propelled's can open the center of a field, & allow for planting closer to the edge of a field without running over the crop with a tractor. Thats just getting started. There are many more reasons; but it could fill a book!
