traction belt for gleaner Elll

Has anyone had to replace the drive/traction belt for their Elll or K combine? If you have and can give me some or pass on some good numbers on a belt thats on your machine? should be the same one used on the K. I can't read any numbers on mine. Mine looks good but there is some slipping and I can't get the machine to go faster than 6 MPH. book said it should go 15MPH ( by the way I wouldn't drive it that fast she is too heavy up front). She will slip on a hill from a stop and will not move. I have to go to low gear to get her to climb. If yours still has some numbers I will be thankful if you can pass it to me. I have finished the combining of my oats but still haven't baled the straw. started raining the day after combining (11 Sept) and haven't had enough windy dry days since. I still have air going through the oats and will until it freezes. there is snow on the hills now.

you can find the part number on agco parts web site,go to guest user ,agkits.com list one for 48 dollars and some change, if i looked up the right one

you looked it up right but they want another 50 bucks shipping. I don't know why these companies don't wake up and just use the post office. they are to set in there ways and don't care because you pay for it. I can get mail here in two or three days in the post office ship anywhere boxes for $11.75 and that would fit in a smaller box most likely for less than 6 bucks. The box is free from the post office and they even pick it up. If people would try and get things mailed we may be able to save our US post office. People want mail every day and they want to use UPS. Now you pay for two to do the job of one. Anyway thanks for the info at lest that's one place I can get it. I was hoping for a Napa or other belt number so I can get it local.

they have it too but it is $103 dollars and of course add shipping. Thanks for the info I never heard of that site either. Lot of belts out there. I'm still hoping someone will come up with a number I can use local.

unless they've changed if your order was over a 100 dollars the shipping was free, for the prices they have on belts they are hard to beat, some don't like q-power belts but i haven't had any problems with them,if napa has that size belt available i seriously doubt you can buy it for under a 100 dollars, may need to look at purchasing another one or two that will need replacing soon to make up and order

they don't ship to Alaska free. we are treated like a different country. it cost the same with the ship anywhere boxes from the post office but companies refuse to use it. unless enough people complain it will not change. Why should it change your the one that pays for it. If they paid it would change tomorrow. I thought of your idea already and I figured the next belt that would be hard to find would be a long one. which belts have given gleaner owners a problem the most?
