Topic: 960 case combine corn head question

Does anyone know if a 2 row JD corn head will fit a 960 case combine? I cant find a case head around my area but i did find a 2 row JD. I was told the difference was the JD head has a narrower throat than the case but would not cause a problem. Any advise is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

| It takes quite a bit of modification to put a JD feederhouse on a 960 to be able to use a JD head. Also a 960 has only one lift cylinder which would have a hard time lifting the longer load. You looking for 2 row wide or narrow? My son may have a 402 38" head for sale.
