Paul swPa 09-24-2012 21:43:42 64.12.116.201 Report to Moderator	In the past I saw someone had made a grain saver/rock guard that bolted at the holddowns on combine header out of pvc pipe. Worked similar to the one in Shoup catalog. I can't seem to find the information on it by seaching the old posts. Can someone point me in the right direction or tell me what size/type plastic pipe was used, etc.. Thanks [Reply]   [No Email]

Used electical single-bolt hold-down clamp every couple feet. Works great, put it on the header 3-4 years ago. I hear 3 inch works well too. In addition to holding in a little bit of beans, the bigger help is in feeding the beans to the header auger - really helps with that. --->Paul   [Reply]  [No Email]
