Corn in the fan screens

I noticed that I was getting some corn in the fan screens on my 95 today. It seems to be more on the left side. Is there a seal thats gone bad, I can't find a hole that would put grain there.

Had the same problem, if you look at my pics you'll see some corn sitting by the fan shield. Was on a really tight schedule to get done, as I needed to be traveling for the following week or so; so didn't try too hard to find it. Seemed like it was very minimal what was coming out there, but still kind of bothered me.

Check the gap on that side ware the clean grain auger hangs on the side by the fan. There might be a big enough gap for the auger to throw grain out as it turns. With the shaker bed moving and that end hanging by those two straps anything is posable. Bandit

I had an issue with my 6600 getting oats in the left side of the fan housing 2 years ago. I thought my elevator chain was shot so I changed it out with no luck. Turned out I had the top seive open too much and the bottom seive too tight so the oats were falling down right away onto the front of the bottom one buiding up and falling back into the fan. Boy, I felt like an idiot!

All of the above can be true; however, I found on our 105 that the canvas flap between the sieve shaker assembly and the fan frame probably has a mouse hole in it.

Forget about buying a new one, they're not out there. I made one out of some denim from the local craft store. Moth balls at the end of the season from then on is good too.

Thanks for the replies, I had a hole in that canvass on both sides. I have done some mods on the clean elevator and sped it up quite a bit for corn.
