I attended a large estate sale yesterday just northeast of Madison,KS..It was a nice day and there was a large crowd..Got to meet Flewster that posts on here and had a nice visit..He may want to tell you what he added to his collection..
Most of this stuff hadnt ran in years but they had lots of it running on sale day..The sale started at 10 am and was over by 2:30 pm..
Here are some pictures and prices..
1-E Gleaner purchased new and used very-very little...It ran good..$550 and went for scrap..The E-240 corn head sold for $150 and went to scrap..
2-CII Gleaner and header sold for $750 and went for
scrap..
3-Fox SP chopper $1150 and goes for scrap except for the tires and 4-71 Detroit..
4-Fox 1 row chopper-$500-had never been used-it wont be scrapped
5-Rare New Idea inline baler-$400 and will be scrapped..
6- NH 77 baler-$425 and will be scrapped-I bought the like new tires off it and someone was getting the Wisconsin engine which was free..
7-Large MM drill in perfect condition-$175 and will be used..
8-Wallis 20-30 tractor-$1250 and goes to a good home in Wichita..
9- McCormick 22-36-$600 and will be made to run.
10-F-30 Farmall-$850
11-McCormick 650-$1325
12-450 Farmall Diesel $2600--Neighbors say he used this tractor as a car and made many trips up Hwy 99 to Emporia 20 miles to the north..He often stayed to after dark and went the back roads home..Sometimes he took a bicycle with him and rode around Emporia.
13--Nice Woods Brothers corn picker-$225 and will be scrapped..
14-UD-18 McCormick power unit-$352 and will be scrapped..
15--Burnt car sells today
16-Shed that burned.

18-Burnt H Farmall on steel-$375 and was going for scrap but several people were trying to save it or parts of it.
19-Old separator went for $350..
20-Hopper cooled engine $750
A junk buyer from Augusta,KS was there and got lots of the farm implements..
