660 Case With A JD Corn Head

Saw this on ebay..Cant say that I"ve ever seen a Case with a JD corn head..

I got a 244 corn head off a guy in Pennsylvania who was going to try that with his 660, but thought better of it and bought a New Idea picker-sheller. My 244 goes on a Gleaner K2. I should take pictures this fall.

Saw 4 old Case combin es along Rt. 27 in Bryant, IN on my way to Portland last weekend. A model 600 & 660, can't remember the otheer two, but they all looked like it wouldn't take much to put 'em in the field.

I run 1660 and 1665 JI Case combines with JD 105 feederhouse and 643 JD heads!

Did you have to modify the Intermediate feeder houses any to get them to fit the case's?

Had to add 1 1/2" on each side and slide bigger pipe over original bearing holders and move drive sprocket out and cut new keyway. Works great since about 1980!!
