313 corn head

Looking at a 55eb and was wondering if a 313 head off of a 45 would work with it? And what would need to be done if anything. Also what would be a good price for the 313 head? Also what would be a good price on the combine with platform both look like they have been sheded good tires cab gas engine runs good haven't looked at in person yet any pointers as to what to look for too. Thanks

The 313 was made for both 45/55.however,the 55 is 4"
wider.You will need to 'stretch'/widen the mounting
'ears'.The cylinder mounts are also different.Then
you will need to figure out the 'drive'.45 uses a
belt,55 uses a chain.It can be done-a lot of work.If
you can find a 'junker'(not likely)-not to bad.
