Hello all,

So the bolts broke that hold the pitman/yolk in the counter weight and I had to take everything off, but to put the pitman bearing back on the shaft (which in not in the centre, it's offset) do i just line it up and put it on? Or is there a timing issue with it? I just don't want it to break if I just throw it on.

Thanks

i have one, and if i am following what you are doing, there is no time that i know of. the bearing on the on the pitman rod is off center so you may have to roll it over to get it to line up. also the flange that holds the bearing on make sure you can grease it will last a lot longer as i had one that was not greasable and fail in a short time.

That's exactly what I am talking about. I kinda thought that I may have to roll it over to put it in position. Thanks for your reply, much appreciated.
