New NH on a wet Welsh day! Made in Italy based on old Fiat models. Mainly sold to councils & golf courses.
 
When Allis Chalmers was almost done (can't believe it-about 30 years ago!), we bought a new 6060 tractor- Fiat from the flywheel back.
It's interesting to walk along the rear of a line up of some new NH tractors and recognize the same axle housings, three point linkage, drawbar frames, etc.!

The last AC tractors sold here was 1969, the disasterous ED40, AC closed all production and moved to France for a few years.

What engines were fitted to those small AC's ?
 
A few of those "English Diesel 40's" made it over here, but nobody wanted to admit it!
Then the 160 tractor, made in France by Renault, with a 3 cyl. Perkins engine, was a very popular tractor.
The short lived 6000 series(6060-6070-6080) used an AC engine. 200 cu. in. four cyl. version of the long used 301 six cylinder.
