looking on southwest Minnesota Craigslist and found a ad for a mm 4290 combine, platform and a 4 row corn head, picture of it looked good, wanted 8oo dollars, dont know anything about it, rod

Someone needs to grab this one for $800...There never were very many 4290's...

Theres a 4296 MM also listed there for $50,000 ???? thats had very little use..

The funny thing is he says that with a little work it will be a great investment.....Its nice but I really doubt that anyone would pay $2500 for it..

A few years back I watched a fairly decent and running 3490 MM sell for $25 at Reading,KS...It was 200 miles away..

The guy asking $50,000 must have a twitch in his trigger finger. The picture reminded me of the 3496 we had long ago. I climbed up to an upper barn window and took this way back then.
