Must be going Crazy

Not sure why I made the call as I'm not sure what I'll do with it. The guy sent me pictures and it had wheels on it but told me I need to find my own rims and tires. I have some old white spoke 6 bolt 15 wheels that I hope may fit.Not sure if I have any 16" 6 bolt rims. Think I must be crazy on this buy.

I was given one of those about 15 years ago.never went and got it.its still there....

I think that's what dad was farming with when I came around. It got replaced with a JD 45hilo about when I remember things well enough to remember well.

Dad's was a pto drive, but had the seed/weed cleaner on it like yours. He ran ~160 acres of small grains and soybeans through it every year.

Mom always said it got stuck easy, all that weight on a rather small tire. She was the one with the chain and other tractor...

Dad got a shoulder problem, so couldn't adjust the height with the lever for a couple years (problem eased away for him mostly). So he found a IHC 300 with the Fast hitch, used that to combine, could use the tractor drawbar hyd to raise & lower the combine. He really liked the tractor over the years. He liked the combine but was just pretty small for where yields and crops went for the size farm. Was still in good shape when he sold it.

Guess I'm reflective this frosty morning, sorry if I'm babbling on.

I have tires, wheels, hubs for the taking. Been inside a building I am tearing down. My Dad had one years ago and scrapped it but kept the wheels. I am located in northeast iowa which from your pictures looks a long ways away.

If everytime we bought old machinery we were labeled crazy they would probably be right and we would all be locked up somewhere because this old stuff is crazy. However its the most fun that a crazy person can have and still be legal. I'm glad you saved it from the scrap man.
