John Deere 3300 Combine Pictures

First combine I bought new, would like to see all of
your pictures! We ran a 343 corn head and a 213
flex, did a nice job, it was a diesel.. Sometimes it
nice to go down memory lane!

I didnt really take any pictures of it when I had it all of 4 years. Traded to a 4400, then a 6620ll, then a 6620 Side Hill, then a 9500, 9600, and now a 9660.. All brand new, I do have pictures of the newer ones, but that doesnt really excite me, they are all over this area.. Kinda miss the good old days!

Wow! You've had most all of the smaller ones. I'm surprised to see you quantum leap from a 6620 II, to a 9600 or even that 9500, rather than the 7720-sized 9400.
It really sucks that none of the manufacturers even offer a truly small combine anymore. I'm not even talking about a tiny one like a 3300. I'm talking a 6600/6620-sized combine.

Like everything else, got bigger heads. Had a 6 row on both 6620's, want to stay 6 so went with a 9500.. Everyone was saying a 9400 was to small at the time, this was fall of 1988.. Would of been fine w/ a 9400 afterall. Went from the 9500 to a 9600 when I went to 20 inch rows and wanted to run a 12 row head. Still run 12 20's, going to an 18 row 20 next year along w/ a new 9870, one the of the last ones ordered. Probably be my last new combine. My tractor purchases were about the same, but I kept them a bit longer and still have my first brand new tractor bought, a 1973 JD 4230 Quad, diesel w/ cab.. Cant find it in me to buy a brand new tractor, last one new was my 8300. No plans to buy anything new at this point.

Here are a couple pics of our 3300 and our early 45 round back

Very nice photos. What are you using to get up higher for this picture? Also what part of the world is this?

The "handling with ease" depends on the amount/slope of hills you have. Our 9500 sidehill wasn't all that proud of us when we switched to 8 row heads. Neighbor did the same with a ll 9500, it was slow going for him... Location. location, location :)

If you have anymore picture of it that would be great, you can always email them to me! Is it a diesel? info@ forestcityautobody . com
