Gleaner kl238 corn head

The L means low profile. If I remember, (and I might be incorrect), the tin is at a lower angle and the rollers are a different length. Also think the L heads were for the pipe-and-hook quick attach (but could fit the earlier spring-latch system), while a plain K238 only had the spring-latch.

Besides being low profile, the KL had only one slip clutch for all four gathering chains, the K had slip clutches on each chain. The tin was also lower on the KL and worked better in bad stalk conditions. Joe
