How many of you still run a Gleaner K? Was just curious as to how many posters still run one. I bought one in 2010 and did some wheat with it. Worked fine and it is the size that I need.

I have 2. 1974 model set up for corn with a 3 row 30 head. Other is 1972 with a 13' straight head for beans. Will be my first year running the '72. Was looking for a straight head, and ended up with a whole machine for less money. Going to try it and see how she works.

Dad still runs his in beans, He is 73 so the 10ft head with robot suits him to a tee. And when adjusted right its not a Silver Seeder! He stays on top of mantiance on it and loves to cut soybeans in the fall. Guy up the road from him has a K that is the same as his and they are sister combines, consecutive serial serial numbers (kinda rare). Got a picture someware of the 2 combines when he went up to help him cut his beans. Bandit

I have a 1970 K I will be using for the first time on a small plot of corn this year. It has sat for last 12 years so I have spent the better part of the summer getting things working again .

this is my only A/C machine but looks a lot like yours in the pics, I have the unloading auger some where i must have taken it of to haul it LOL

I have a K that I run every year. Bought it about 7 years ago. Very dependable and easy to work on. I run mostly small grains and soybeans. Most parts are still fairly easy to find.

Bought a 67 model last year, and ran 10ac of corn through it with one failure. Fan bearing went out. I was disapointed at first, but JMS, and Warren helped me get it adjusted and it ran great. Good little machine.

We have two units as well. One with 13ft bean head, looking for 10ft rigid head for oats. The other has a black two row corn head. I love to run the corn machine. It just has a strait pipe on it, when you run through corn at night there will be a six inch blue flame out of the pipe when you hit some thick corn! lol

Would not want any blue flames out the exhaust here this year as you might burn the countryside down. Love the pictures of the machines.
