I was one bring $1000, once. And I've seen them for $500. I never let a listed price stop me: if I am really interested, I will call on it or go look at it. We usually strike a deal. Start high,you can always go down. Way back in 1999! LOL, I had looked at a #76 combine, that was listed in a local free paper, dude was asking $250. I drove out to look at it. He would not move on the price. Two weeks later, he ran the ad again, saying "best offer" and I called him. I asked him how much he needed to let it go; $25.00 took it home. He did not want to scrap it, and no one else had called!
