2010 bean harvest pics

2010 bean pic of my oldest son running auger wagon for the first time. He did a great job and my hired man taught him well. Beans are the best I've ever raised averaging around 65 bu/acre or more. Haven't got the final tally yet, but that's a guess.

south central Nebraska. We have about 200 acres left of beans and then on to corn.

I am curious as to what brand/variety/mauturity you planted and what population you planted. 30 " rows?

They are micogyn brand and I will look in my book for the number of those, I can't remember off hand, and 36" rows.

We planted,sprayed and hilled them and never irrigated them. We had timely rains this summer and can't be more happy. Like the saying "rain makes grain".

Thanks for the pics. We started on beans today here in NW Iowa but my neighborhood had a little more rain than everyone else around us so the ground stability is still a little iffy. We even pulled a neighbor's slightly stuck combine out of the mud with our grain cart tractor. He might have been able to drive it out himself but he's never had his combine stuck before so he was playing it cautious. Jim
