The hydro lines leak were the two pipes come together. The ones for the hydrostat. There is two piece "block" that tightens with 2 bolts and I've replaced the o rings with case ih new ones and still no luck. The bolts are as tight as they'll go. Are those blocks warped and I have to replace the lines or is there a fix to it I haven't heard. Thanks in advance. :?

I would try a backup ring in with the oring.

The backup ring may be just enough to seal it.

I tried that too, didn't fix it. Thinking about cutting it out and putting a compression fitting in there, but can't convince myself to do that yet.

If your gonna cut the ends off and destroy them anyway I would weld around the blocks.

I guess it would still leak in the bolt holes though wouldn't it. Guess you could pull the bolts out after welding and weld them shut as well.

Are the blocks pited or something like that?

Sounds like you have a crack between flange and pipe. replace it. Don't try cobbling a half arsed joint on those lines, they see almost 6000 psi.

Slide the blocks down the lines and check the flanges. I would bet that one is cracked. The oring fit between the flanges and usually don"t give much leak trouble. Compression fittings will not hold the pressure that the hydrostatic line run at.

I didn't notice any pitting but was wondering if the blocks got warped. I'll check the flange and see for a crack. I'll let you guys know what I find. Busy chopping silage and hope for a rain day to work on it.

Got it apart yesterday and still find no signs of damage, strange beast. Gonna try and see if the tightening blocks are "true".

Got it fixed. Put a couple welds on the back side of the flanges so the blocks would pull them up tighter and found a very minute pin hole behinde the flange. Warmed up the fluid and test ed it and all is well!
