Bought a Model T Gleaner today.

Well we just added another combine to the collection. Bought a Model T Gleaner today. Should get it out of the guys shed and home next week. Not as nice a machine as Blaine's but it is a shedded combine. Has cut alot of wheat in it's time.

Sold a 20-40 Rumely Oil Pull last month so I have a spot in the building it will fit into. I'll post pictures next week when we bring it home. As my old friend Harold Ottaway used to say "there is no such thing as an easy haul".
 
Post pictures ASAP. My Grandfather had a T Gleaner, he was a "Gleaner Baldwin" man. He never ran anything but a Gleaner combine. He always talked about what a man killer the manual variable speed was on the T. Tell you what ... you get the T home and I'll come over and run it for you so you can take pictures of it and the new Gleaner cutting wheat together. That sissy nephew of yours can run the new Gleaner with the cab, air conditioning, radio, CD player, comfort ride seat...wait a minute, maybe I should rethink this.

Got the Model T Gleaner home today. Runs good but has seen alot of acres. I'll try this posting pictures stuff, may take a post or two. Ran her in the open building tonight. Will try to get her into her new "permanent" home in a day or two.
