Local museum saved a Doylestown Thresher made not far from here in Pennsylvania. It needed a couple belts and couldn't find, so they put together some round-baler belts to make it useable for threshing days until they can find someone to make original-style belts.

McMaster-Carr has flat belt stock and lacing kits. Widths from 1 inch to 6 inch available so you can make exactly what you need. Not low cost, but certainly the way to go if you can afford it.

Those old belts aren't high tech. Just need a width X length and thickness and if you want seamless or lacing. Most larger towns have an industrial belting supplier or Motion Industries or Applied Industrial. CT
