Early 55 JD

Hi Blaine, Yes I did get in contact with the party on that 55. We've communicated a couple of times, but I'm still waiting for him to get up there to get more info for me. So we'll see what happens.

I did get the 55 home from Colby last year in July I believe, it was raining cats and dogs when I pulled up to the guy's place. It did quit long enough to get it loaded. It's mostly a parts machine, though the engine was loose.

The guy was real nice to deal with, very beautiful yard; (his wife has a greenhouse and a green thumb). It was interesting seeing the crop out that way last summer, never saw a more beautiful corn crop in Nebraska or Kansas.

I kind of lurk around here, but life is seeming to get more busy for me. Plan to get out to bring home a few more machines this year; so we'll see how it goes.

It would be interesting to round up a crew of regular posters to meet somewhere over the years. Maybe at the 2011 50 years of progress?

Take care, Brad

Hi Brad,
Where is this 2011 50years of progress you talked about? Could you give me a link?

Ande, http://www.halfcenturyofprogress.org/ I hope I can have the little Massey there for corn picking, had too many small problems to iron out in 2009.
