This is helping out a friend picking corn LAST WEEK LOL. 30 acres with a two row head and no cab in march. What a way to have fun.

What was the yeild on that corn??? dont look like enough to cover the gas to me.....

I agree, but perhaps he was lucky and sold it when it was over $7/bu last summer.

Only the outside 100' wasnt very good. When we got in the center the corn was doing around 120 because the old 45 starts grawling when the corn is over 100. Most all the stalks dont have any leaves but in the middle all of the stalks have two ears

Maybe it is just me, but if I had 7 dollar corn sold.....it wouldnt stand untill march.....Just givin ya a hard time!!!!

Good DEal , Nice Pix, git ER DONE ! ,, Dad Used to say the cheapest grain bin was leaving it in the field til spring ,, That was before these modernhybrid stalks that weaken and rot when YOU get the CRAZY weather ,.. Hurricane IKE blowed thru Harrison Co. with gusts over 100 miles per hour , laid the corn flat,, I was lucky enuf to pasture my feilds after harvest ,, Hope You all can do the same type of gleaning , Best wishes ,Jim
