Does anyone know where a guy could get the same type as canvas that was used on binders and combines? I would like to make a few for myself and if they turn out halfway decent would consider even making them for other people.

If you go to minneapolis-moline dot com, discussion board, search canvas, you'll find the name of a man who apparently makes new canvas, he maytell you who the canvas supplier is. HTH, John

Thanks John just wrote a letter to mail out in the morning! Would anyone be interested in buying canvases for binders, windrowers, or combines if I get to a point where I feel I have a good quality marketable product?

The material must not be too hard to get. Our local awning and tent maker gets it and makes combine canvasses.

far as i know u can still buy from deere etc. swathers still use them
yaknow. nowadays they have plastic slats. any tarp/canvas guy
can whip em up too & just use your old slats n make new for
broken ones etc.
