anyone know where to obtain BS (3.5) carb linkage diagrams

I am looking for a linkage diagram for the springs and linkage rod for my 3.5 hp B&S classic. Need to figure out if the rod and spring are assembled with the air vane away from the flywheel vanes and with the throatel all the way open or not ? And, what in the world is the larger spring for ? These srpings are the originals and have not been fooled with, they just became disconnected somehow and I can't figure out how the are arranged ????? This application is a vertical shafted 20" push lawn mower. Any help is appreciated. Thanks...JIM

Don't know about online but Briggs L head service manual has diagrams of various set ups..Library of photo copy from a dealer..I don't have a scanner
