JD 214 Right green side cover,

Have a 214 & would like to know if the right motor cover (the tractor green one) is it diff when there is an electric clutch control used to ingauge the mower deck? Where some have the lever
to engauge it. Was told there were 2 types.
Any around.

Go to jdparts.com and click on "John Deere Parts Catalog" and you can look for yourself to see what different ones were used.

I would GUESS there's several serial number breaks, and, since you didn't post your serial number, no one can help you with a more specific answer.

The covers DO come up for sale on ebay quite often.

The cover for a tractor with electric PTO is different from the cover for a tractor with manual PTO. A lot of eBay sellers won't know the difference. If you get one for a manual PTO tractor and you're brave I could send you a template to cut the notch out with a sabre saw. Worked pretty well for me.
