I found a Powermax 4040 through an estate that has 800+ hours on it, very clean, has a 5' deck, a 5' blade, and 52" snowblower. All the implements are clean, also. They have an idea what they want but they want me to make an offer. Any ideas what it would be worth? Also, is there any thing specific to watch for on these tractors. I heard they were only made one year with the 16 HP twin. Thanks!
 
The big item that sells these units is the 3 pt. hitch. Does it have the 3 pt hitch? Also does it have the rear pto for 3 pt implements? I have had 2 of these and they are great units even though they are getting old. I sold one of mine with a bad engine and transmission problems for 1000.00 but it did have the 3 pt and rear pto. Usually the prices start at 1500 and I've seen some running units in the 3500 range with the 3 pt, rear pto and a couple attachments. Gary
 
No rear PTO, but the people know where there is a 3 point for it. I found out last night they want $3200 for everything without the 3PT.
 
I have a 9020 powermax that i am trying to find a home for it runs strong and included is the 60 inch finish mower, 60 inch front plow, 50 inch snow thrower and snow cab with lights. My machine does have rear pto and 3 point however there is a couple hitch pieces missing. The hydraullics and pto"s do work and engine uses just a little oil but runs good.
 
hello all i recently aquired a simplicity 40 40 it has a power take off but someone removed the part between the drive pulley and the pto drive shaft if anyone has one please let me know thanks
