Ah, well, no replies says a lot! After some research, I think this is a very light duty Cub Cadet, and overpriced, so I think I"ll pass on it.

Yes they are built nothing like the old cadets. I purchased Lt 1550 from Home Depot 4 years ago. I mow 2 acres weekly from mid April till November. Other than regular maintence have done nothing to it. Main reason I bought it was the price and 0% interest. They are good for mowing and mowing only.
