bolens 1253

A non computer using friend wants to use a 1253 Bolens for pulling. Will the rear end and transmission stand up to this? Is there anything that would prevent this tractor from being used to pull?

Other than the weight of a Bolens compared to some of the other tractors,I don't see why it wouldn't pull,they are heavy tractors so it would limit how much weight you would have to move around for different track conditions.I was talking to a fellow earlier this summer that pulls a Bolens 1050 with a club near him and he claims he does real well with it.
