Type F is an automatic transmission fluid used mainly in older Ford transmissions. Should be able to find it most auto parts stores.

When I changed the ATF in my Wards tractor they recommended Type F & I installed Dexron III. It's
38 years old and I'm still using it. It has hydraulic lift too. Hal

Welcome to a new colour. Type F is green. It was developed for Ford back in the sixties. You should be able to find at any auto parts store such as NAPA

Type F is not as slick as Dexron and won t slip as much, the hot trick in the 70s was to run F in your GM tranny, made it shift a little harder.
