How can I keep drive belts from jumping off my LT130? I have replaced 3 spindles, and the fuel pump on a 200 hour tractor and it is starting to show signs it is not the worst lawn tractor I ever had (that was a used 5 horse MTD) but the dadgum belt jumps after 4 hours or so. Is there a pulley adjustment? I have started blowing the deck off after every use but it still came off this morning and it is a bear to put back on. Thanks

check ur pulley to belt alignment
make sure it got right belt on it
belt could be damaged too
the l130 tractor was designed to compeat with the bargin tractors out there
even with deere u get what u pay for
if the price is cheap so is the tractor
still a lot for the buck compared to the others
good luck gary

People rip these rigs, I've had mine for 3 yrs now and no problems, nice and smooth. Only thing it does that is odd is puff smoke when started. I think the oil in lay-down cylinders collects there and is burned out when started. It also runs pretty lean, and if you shut it down too fast w/out awhile idling will make big Bang backfire as you get off. Kohler 23 in mine.
On the deck, remove the two tin covers over outer spindles, and check for packed up grass. I don't even think the belt can come off unless the covers are off. I take mine off in fall to clean out the pile in there. No good way to hose or air blast those areas out. also on main pulley at engine is a heavy wire or rod riding next th the belt edge. It helps keep belt on when limp. Maybe yours is missing or bent back some. Again, needs to come off to remove belt, or at least easier.
