I recently bought a Cub Cadet 1250, with manual lift. I would like to convert it to hydraulic lift. What do i need to do this.

You will need a ported pump, hydraulic lines and valve, linkage and handle, cylinder and basicly everything from a tractor that had hydraulics. You can probly modify your rockshaft. you can find the complete setup on ebay alot of the time. click on link

If you can find a 1450 with a shot engine
, you can switch them over. Hydraulics were standard on the 1450 and the 1650 most likely had them although it was an option. There were a few 1250 with hydraulics, but had to be ordered that way.

In addition to what TMF suggested you may need a bell crank installed for fastening the yoke on your lift cylinder. Then any of your implements would have to be connected to the bell crank for lifting and lowering them, whether they're on the front or rear. Hal
