John Deere 140 H3

I'm trying to locate a rear PTO shaft assy. for a John Deere 140 H3, for a friend of mine. The Deere p/n is AM31333, but is no longer available from Deere.

I found that on ebay, too, and showed my friend. He said he already has that shaft but there is another one that connects to that one. I haven't seen the tractor yet, but the picture in JDParts is of another shaft.

I once repaired mine years ago. The only other shaft that I remember is part of the hyd. transmission. Any way, contact that fellow on E-bay, he is selling a complete 300, part by part and ask what he has. Good luck..

Item 9 in pic. If you can find one off a 140 Hydro unit.
I don't think the 300 series are the same? Possibly you can find a machine shop fabricate one for you if you have the old part? Mike

And the tractor serial number IS???

(The "H3" you post means it has 3 hydraulic valves, yet doesn't identify which of the 2 PTO shaft styles is needed... below 30,000 or above 30,000.)
